A mesmerising panorama of tidal changes, seasonal shadows and light interplay, spectacular sunsets and weather effects – the lagoon is magic.

To the south the majesty of Mt Gower and Mt Lidgbird; to the north the undulations of Malabar, Kim’s Lookout, Mt Eliza and North Head.

Directly opposite (west) is Blackburn Island- an inviting paddle; and from which the views back to the island and along the reef are beautiful.

Everyday there’s treasures to discover while beachcombing, and it’s not unusual to see a turtle pop up for a breather. Wedge-tailed shearwaters and petrels all breed over summer in the long grass fringing your beach path, and it’s quite a spectacle watching them gliding home at dusk.

So come and share our unique lagoon location, your Lagoon Landing.
